Before we move on, I have to ask you an honest question: are you sure you are going to use your iPad mainly for reading? No games, social media, photo and video editing, drawing, note-taking, or essay writing?
Even if you want to experience reading in a variety of exciting ways (ebooks, graphic novels, interactive book apps, audiobooks, digital magazines, news readers, etc.), you will use some 20% of possibilities your iPad has at hand.
Are you 100% sure, you don't want to use a decent e-reader for a fraction of iPad's price? If you have a moment of doubt, go to e-reader versus tablet comparison.
Apple iPad – what other users are searching for?
Are you still here? It will be really quick, because I'm not going to go through a detailed, boring analysis of tech specs of each iPad model. It makes no sense.
Choosing an iPad for reading boils down to two essential factors:
- price – the lower, the better
- screen size – depends on the kind of content you want to read
And there are only two models you can consider.
- iPad – 9.7-inch display, for $330
- iPad mini – 7.9-inch display, for $400
They are the most affordable iPads. You don't need to pay extra money for features you won't be using, anyway.
When it comes to books, comics, and audiobooks, all iPads are the same. They give access to the same apps in the App Store, and you don't need extra accessories to enhance your reading experience.
Choose iPad 9.7 if you…
…will read a lot of graphic novels, comics, textbooks, or magazines.
There is no cheaper iPad model than this one. It's positioned as an iPad for education, so if you are student, you can get it for a lower price.
The 9.7-inch screen will let you read large-format documents without the need to pinch-to-zoom. Oh, and you can also read novels, as well.
Choose iPad mini if you…
…prefer a compact size and a better screen.
iPad mini is smaller than 9.7-inch iPad, but it's more expensive. It's 7.9-inch Retina True Tone display offers the highest pixel density – 326 ppi. All other iPad models feature 'only' 264 ppi.
As a result, iPad mini will help you see a crispier, more readable text, although its screen size is smaller.
A small screen size is also more eye-friendly. Tablets use backlit displays, where the image is being created by light that comes from behind – directly into your eyes. Therefore, the smaller the display, the less eye strain. Your eyes will get tired, but at a slower pace than in case of iPad 9.7.
My recommendation is…
…iPad mini.
For me, iPad mini is an almost perfect reading device. It combines compact size that's ideal for one handed reading with the screen that's either small enough or large enough, depending on what you are reading. Gameboy 3d emulator.

With the English version PUBG Mobile finally available world over on both iOS and Android, PC/console battle royale veterans and mobile gaming enthusiasts alike have begun to queue up for developer Bluehole's brand of free-for-all mayhem, and said hype isn't merely a product of the game's preceding reputation. If anything, the mobile version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds actually seems to be scoring more points than its desktop and console counterparts.
If you too are itching to get your PUBG on, but don't know if you relatively older iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, Android phone or tablet will be able to handle the game, we're here to help. The game does feature gigantic arenas with up to a 100 players facing off against each other at once, so it is only natural that one wonder whether an older device would be able to render the visuals without hiccups or accommodate the volume required.

So, without further ado, here are system/device requirements for PUBG Mobile.
PUBG Mobile Android Device Requirements
The Play Store page for PUBG Mobile quotes the following specs (as of version 0.3.3), with 500+ Android devices said to fulfill said requirements, including the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8, Galaxy Note 5, Sony Xperia XZ1, Huawei Honor 8,LG G5, Redmi 4A, Redmi Note 4, and more. Support for more devices will likely be added with each update.
Android version: Android 4.3 and above (Android 5.1.1 and above recommended)

PUBG Mobile iOS Device Requirements
iOS version: iOS 9.0 and above
Compatible devices: iPhone 5s or newer
- iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X
- iPad Air, iPad mini 2, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 4, 12.9-inch iPad Pro, 9.7-inch iPad Pro, iPad (5th generation), 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2nd generation), 10.5-inch iPad Pro, iPad (6th generation)

PUBG Mobile Graphics Settings
Note that the game features three graphics presets, namely Low, Medium, and High. The more powerful your device is, the higher will be its chances of being able to run the game at the medium or high setting. On an iPhone X, for example, the game automatically selects the best graphics preset the first time it is launched.
From within the Graphics section of the game's settings, you can also switch switch between Low, Medium, High Frame Rate to manage battery and CPU consumption, switch resolution between Smooth, Balanced, HD, and Ultra HD to fully leverage the power of your device's display, and apply one of three Styles (Classic, Colorful, and Realistic), essentially filters, to in-game visuals.
